The queens of BlackPink have FINALLY blessed me with an album, THE ALBUM, I've been waiting for. It's been more than four years and let me tell you it was heat. Today I am going to be talking about their songs (of course) Which member I think owned this era, Choreography, favorites, and more!

Each Song Individually
1. How You Like That
When 'How You Like That' came out, I was honestly, disappointed. Don't get me wrong it's the fire that BlackPink always brings, but that's the things...that it is what they always bring. I was hoping for something different. I love the song, but feel like I got tired of it very fast. BlackPink had me wondering when were they going to come back with something like 'Playing With Fire' or 'Don't Know what to do.'
My overall rate for HYLT is...7/10! Only because I felt like I've been hearing the same sound from them in the same order for tooooo long. Other than that, the song is a certified BOP! Since this song technically belongs to a different era I would have to say...Lisa and Jisoo OWNED this era, I couldn't pick between the two since they both shined. Also, the choreography for this song was typical BlackPink, but I 100% still loved it.

2. Ice Cream Ft. Selena Gomez
Y'all I'm not a big fan of Selena Gomez, but when I tell you I was HYPE when I saw the teaser for this song. My first time watching the music video I got up and ran to my mom was like ''LOOK AT THIS!'' I made her watch the whole thing and she was just like "ooooh okay." I really did like the pink and cutesy theme to the music video and how they blend Selena being in the US and them being in South Korea so well.
My rate for Ice Cream is a 9/10! This song doesn't get a 10/10 because of the lack of lines Jisoo had in this song. As far as Choreography, at first, I didn't like the animation idea, but then it grew on me. I don't know if they got a new choreographer for this song, but the dance is so good. Every move they did just fit perfectly with the song and the theme of the music video.
3. Pretty Savage
This is my FAVORITE song on the album. There is nothing wrong with the song in my opinion. You can also tell that they tried something new with Lisa starting the song and Jisoo saying the "BlackPink in your area.'' I have this song playing as we speak. The name of the song is BlackPink just not in colors? If that makes sense. They said on Jimmy Kimmel that Pretty Savage is who they are as BlackPink.
Rate? 10/10 for sure, everything about this song is perfect. A lot of people surprising don't the choreography for this song. They say that It's too soft and should be more hardcore considering the song. Chile, I disagree. The choreography matches the song perfectly. Wanna test me? The name of the song is PRETTY SAVAGE. The savage is where the hip hop vibe comes from with the song, right? This is where people don't agree, but listen, the softer and laid back "baddie'' movements go perfect with the pretty. There you go, Pretty savage...okay bye.
4. Bet You Wanna Ft. Cardi B
The second I heard "BlackPink…Cardi!" I screamed! This song seems so uplifting for women, like no, I'm not chasing you, you are chasing me. Cardi B's rap was really good. It wasn't crazy but, I'm still rapping every single line every time. Rose's high notes at the end will send me to a whole other dimension and I can't take it.
My rate for this song is another 10/10. I couldn't ask for more with a song title "bet you wanna." All of the lines hit too. Lisa's hips don't lie, if you want Jennie better bet higher, Jisoo is lighting you fire, and Rose knows you wanna run with her love. Ahh okay, I'm done. If there was a dance to this song it would be so good, I can feel it.
5. Lovesick Girls
For starter, I didn't even know an album was coming out at first I just thought it was Lovesick Girls. My first time listening to lovesick girls, I was so proud. I was starting to feel like BlackPink was stuck in the same style of music, but LSG proved me so wrong. It's so different from what they normally do and I'm here for it. The scene with Rose Crying in the bathtub with all the black paint is honestly so beautiful. It's my favorite scene.
Now, my rate for LSG. . .9/10! Hear me out, It's only 9/10 for one reason, the choreography. Let me tell you, in the music video I was so hyped for the dance practice to come out and when it did and I watched the whole thing I was like ''that's it.'' I just wish I was something as different as the song, but I love the chorus dance though.
6. Crazy Over You
Crazy over you is my second favorite song on the album. First of all, the beat is INSANEEEE! It goes crazy. My favorite part is the chorus, the feeling of it makes me feel like it going to go so high then they drop it so low. Ughhh serving me. I never thought I need this song in my life...Bruh I'm so extra and for what?
Y'all should already know that this song is a 10/10. There is literally nothing you can add to this song. Jennie's rap is heaven-sent. The ending too, it sounds like some type of anthem chant. I love singing this song, it for sure challenges my control over my voice. Singing this is not that easy bruh, it's like a bunch of personalities coming out at once.
7. Love To Hate Me
BlackPink actually came for all of their haters in this song. When Jisoo said ''Imma let you fade into the background, baby all my shows are getting too loud." I DIED! The lyrics go so hard for this. As they should, Imagine being a hater and going to this, like I bet they felt so attacked. . .as they should though.
Love to hate me rate is a...9/10. It's not a 10 because I kind of felt like Lisa was getting lost in the beat with her rap. I mean it's not bad, but it could be better. That is my only ''complaint'' about this song. Rose starting the song, started the song just as it should. I'm ready to see some tour choreography in 2022, because Miss Corona still here.
8. You Never Know
Nothing could have been better than Jisoo and Lisa starting this song. This song is really so beautiful and I don't think BlackPink has a song talking about how hard it is to be an idol in the K-Pop industry. They'll all showing the true strength that they have in their voices. Even Lisa because she never really sings.
10/10 rate for sure. If there was no English I would think this was a Christmas song, I don't know why. Anyways, the beat goes great with Jisoo's kind of deep and raspy voice. I love the line ''It's easier to judge me than to believe.'' Even better that Jennie sung it because everyone always finds a reason to not like Jennie and I don't get it.
Lovesick Music Video
WHO OWN THIS ERA?
Lisa is my bias so I was a bit nervous that I would pick her, but when Lovesick Girls came out I knew who it was. The owner of 'THE ALBUM' era is...Rose. I just think rose really shined so much this era. She's Improved her dancing, vocals, stage presence, EVERYTHING! It wouldn't feel right giving this to anyone else. (lol) Why am I talking like I am about to present her with an award?!
Alright, you guys this the end. I just want to say thank you for taking the time to read about my obsession with BlackPink…It's Unhealthy, I know. Just a quick message, I have a YouTube channel now and the first video is going today. I would love it if you go to watch it. Thanks again, now I'm going to go watch 'Light Up the Sky' again on Netflix.
