6 FASHION TRENDS I LIKE AND WANT TO TRY... I BLAME TIKTOK!!!

I would say my fashion sense is all over the spectrum, like the WHOLE thing.

Fashion is changing constantly, either it's the hair, clothes, make-up, or all of them combined. It's so hard to keep up with what hairstyle is in and what tops are out. Well, I've never really been the type to jump on waves unless I actually like them. With my wide look on things, here are 6 fashion trends I like and want to try.

1. SOFT GIRL

I feel like the whole soft girl style would be a hit or miss for me, but no question still wanna go buy some clothes so that I can pop out in a soft girl fit. I 100% blame TikTok for putting me on to these fits. Who said I was complaining though? I feel like whenever my mom reads this she's going to be like the eye-rolling emoji. The girl in the picture fit is perfect for what I want. I'm sure that if I go thrifting I can find everything to put this fit together.

With this type of style  as far as make-up I want to do the blush with hearts outlined in it. OMG, I did it one time in the bathroom and Chile let me tell you... I wasn't even disappointed, I knew it was going to be bad. Then, I couldn't get it off, I was about to cry because I didn't want my mom to see. Alright, next fit.

2. SPLIT COLOR HAIR

So you see this hairstyle was the highlight of TikTok when it blew up. I remember looking at these hair colors and being like...my mom is gonna give me a fat no. She did, but I think she's coming around to the idea. Yes, I know that a lot of people do this now, but I still feel as if it's unique. For example, if I'm walking down the street with this hair it's for sure going to make people break their necks to see.

For me, I would specifically want black with pastel green. I don't know why, but I feel like green was made for these hairstyles. One thing I don't like about it though is that if I use any bold color, I would always have to wear fits that match that hair color. For example, green and I don't want to wear green clothes or colors that look good on green forever. That's the only thing that bothers me with this hair choice, but other than that 10/10 would recommend

3. E - GIRL

Writing about the E-girl fits is such a mood since I'm listening to Rico Nasty right now. Ever since I was little a part of me was always just like "black lipstick and chains!" I never got the chance to actually dress like this, but when I do...protect your necks because they're getting stepped on. This is another one I know my mom is going to roll her eyes at while reading. LOL

When I saw this look was blowing up on TikTok I was like, ''PERIOD!'' (OMG the number of times I said TikTok is unhealthy, Pray for me guys.) From the chains to the oversize shirt tucked into a skirt or like black cargo pants and some platform boots. Mwah, perfect! I'm going to go to my mom and tell her I am going to go live out my E-Girl dreams now.

4. Y2K

"The year 2000" What a time to be alive... I wasn't. I will always be jealous that I wasn't born yet in 2000 so that I can dress like this. I mean, just look at them. The purple fit sends chills down my spine. This is the ONLY reason I have Depop. No fits in 2020 or any other year will compare to Y2K fits.

These two fits aren't even half of these clothes, It varies from so much and it's so hard to just choose one. For example, the clothes that look like they were spray-painted on, as Mr.Krabs says "shiver mi timbers." Nothing had made me want bandanas as bad as trying to be a Y2K baby. Okay, so guys I'm going to go beg my mom to take me shopping now.

5. K-POP STAGE FITS

Do you know that moment when you are in your room bopping to K-pop acting like you are doing a comeback- stage? Because same. When it comes to K-Pop stage fits I am more attracted to groups like BlackPink, ITZY, Red Velvet, and Mamamoo. Also, I've been liking Twice's new style. They all have a super chill, yet in your face outfits. Whoever styles these groups does them justice...most of the time.

One thing I don't like about the whole K-Pop industry is that all the girls are just so thin. It makes It harder for girls like me to picture myself in the clothes they wear because, to be honest, most girls do not look like that. Anyways, They do be eating though with their fashion sense like ugh, somebody give me Jennie of BlackPink's stylist.

6. 90s

Do you know how many times my mom has told me "you want to be from the '90s so bad!" I see no error in her words, she is completely right. 90s fashion was like a peak in the fashion industry. I feel like this is when everybody was getting more creative and trying things outside the box, and I'm not mad at it.

The photo of Janet Jackson looks like such a simple outfit, but the little things are what make the fit pop. The whole vibe is right and once again I need to go shopping...let's get a whole new wardrobe. I can't see anyone denying 90s fashions trends like, am I right or am I right?

Like I said in the very beginning my sense of fashion is all over the place. Let me know what are your favorite looks or if I missed any that might fit. Okay, I'm about to go and beg my mom to let me get a whole new wardrobe and until next time, byeeee!

FIRST DAY OF ONLINE SCHOOL.... CHILE TALK ABOUT CHAOS

Sooooo I missed five classes my first day...yes, and the whole system crashed on the first day.

Before we get into this...interesting first day, we've got to rewind like 3 or 4 days before school. I had to go up to my school to pick my schedule. I got all dressed up to go because...why not step on a few necks? I pull up at school with my mom, she kicked me out and made me go by myself! Long story short, I had to wait in a hot and long line outside. When I got to the front I gave her my name and she gave me my classes and before I knew it... the day had come.

My morning start off with a mini heart attack when my mirror fell on the wall in the middle of the night.

(LOL Bruh this was me for real)

I set my alarm for 6 am when I woke up, I'm not going to lie, I was hype. I went my though morning routine ( If y'all want a morning routine article please let me know in the comment section.)  I wore a super pretty shirt that my mom made me, that said ''JUNIOR SZN" with some biker shorts. Drip or drown for virtual school!

    1st period (AP English lang.)

The time had come for me to sit in front of my laptop for 8 hours not knowing what to expect. 8:30 am I logged into my first-period class which was AP English Language. My teacher was very funny and crazy at the same time. We did some work, but trust me it was not a lot at all. Plus, I actually really like English classes anyways. Also, we just got to know our teacher and about some of her life.

She told us the was a graduate student in journalism and she had this cool paper that she had to do. GOALS! She was extremely chill, she treated us like people instead of "let me just do what I have to do to get paid." I really like that about her and I confirmed right then that she was my favorite teacher so far. I was thinking to myself  ''Okay this isn't so bad...yet!'' I'm just kidding...or am I?

2nd period (Algebra 2)

For starters, There are SIXTY KIDS in this ONE class and I have some opinions on that and I want to get them out now.  This was such a dumb idea for whoever made the schedules. I don't know about everyone else's school, but mine wants us to go back physically in person in only 6 weeks! (which I'm not going) Alright, so normally there are about 20 - 30 kids in a class without Ms.Corona, but now that she's here, there HAVE to be fewer kids in class. So hmm, what is the school going to do when we go back to physical learning and 60 people walk into one class with no clue what to do, but go off.

Anyways, back to my class. To be honest, there isn't much to say, my teacher took the whole class doing attendance. (LOL) She was actually my teacher during my freshman year in Algebra 1 and she was pretty mean back then, but so far she had been really nice, but it is only the second week. During this class I Face Timed my best friend because we were in this class together and we just laughed and about the fact that there are 60 people in one class. Overall, a nice class. I don't really care for it because it's math, but it is what it is.

3rd period ( Environmental Science)

Then came the 3rd period. When I logged in the class and I saw the students and was looking around I notice the only grade level I saw was 12th??!! I  asked my teacher was I in the right class, and she said ''yes.'' In my head, I went PERIOD!! I'm a junior if you didn't know. Actually had the same teacher freshman year and she was my Biology A teacher.

My teacher had told me that I needed to set up my college board account, that whole situation was embarrassing, not even going to get into that. There wasn't really anything that happened in that class, we all just talked and chilled, it was pretty fun getting to know some of them. You know, the syllabus review and going over class expectations and such.

4th period ( Theater Production)

I was super excited to go to Theater because if you read my "about the author" you would know that I am a Theater geek. I've been doing acting for around 3 years now. When hopped on I saw my Theater teacher and I was really happy to see her. There are only 5 people in this class, so it's a real chill and laid back class. We just talked about how there is a possible chance that we'll be able to do our Theater competitions this year. which I was so hype about.

(Me going to my next class)

6th period (Physics)

If you have been reading my blog, you would know I was definitely not excited about physics. (This is now the second week of school and we're still not doing physics, I'm convinced she doesn't know how) Moreover, when I logged on and saw my teacher's face I was like "ohh noo". because I had been hearing about her since my freshman year and they were not good things. People told me she was very strict, mean, and annoying.

I went into this thinking we'll maybe they are wrong and that is just their opinion about her. So, I gave her a chance and...they didn't lie. I thought to myself "okay I will never be looking forward to this class. I actually had her class today and she told us we got a test next week! ON WHAT? She hasn't taught us anything. Pray for me.

MY OTHER CLASSES

I bet you are wondering right now, "doesn't she have more classes?''  The answer is yes I do. I ended up missing the 5th, 7th, 8th period, and both of my intervention classes. Fun! My Microsoft Teams account was messed up and wasn't showing some of my classes for a few days. 5th period was U.S. History, 7th was business management, 8th was Spanish, and my intervention classes were Dance and college skills.

Don't worry, I do have all of my classes now, but some of them were a bit of a struggle. Starting with Spanish, I emailed my Spanish teacher and told him what was going on and he was trying help and eventually ask me what school do I go too, So I told him and he was like ''I'm sorry I do not work at that school anymore.'' So, I told my counselor and they fixed it. Soon enough all of my other classes came along.

No, doing school virtual school isn't the ideal way I would want, but it is necessary. To be honest, I expected to not like this at all, but turns out I actually do. It does get boring sitting in one place all day but its kind of cool. This is where today's blog comes to an end. Until next time, Byeee guys.

Why Do People Even Like K-POP?

In 2018 K-pop blew up in the U.S, many people rode the wave, but some people were like "K-POP what?", "BTS who", ''BLACK PINK where", and  "why do people even like K-POP??" If you're one of those people just keep on reading to find out.

                    MUSIC VIDEO VISUALS

( LALALAY - SUNMI )

K-Pop music is nothing shy of great and original music video production, from the outfits to the camera quality they've got it all. With each new scene keeping everyone on the edge of our seats k-pop music videos is for sure a point that draws people to the amazing music genre. Kim Sung-Wook is the director of a lot of the great song visuals. Songs such as BTS's Mic Drop, Taemin's Danger, and many more to name. With talented directors like him and addicting songs, put them together and you've got yourself the perfect sight to the eyes and ears. These music videos make you think ''Wow, let me watch that again!''

                        ORIGINAL SOUND

                                                                    ( ITZY -  ICY )

The sound of the K-Pop music will never get old given the fact it constantly comes with new and creative sounds every time. Just when you think there's nothing new that can be made k-pop music is there to prove you 100% wrong. Itzy is an extraordinary example. the five beautiful women manage to hit us with artistic and new sounds with each release. Us k-pop crazed fans are never let down and always introduced to a newborn sound of outstanding music. Join the k pop fandom and you're guaranteed to not be disappointed.

                       CHOREOGRAPHY

                                                                ( BTS - On )

It's known that the k-pop industry tops everything with their choreography. I know without a doubt that I've learned about 75+ dances. The moves are just so smooth and clean. ( I mean I would think so since some groups practice for 8 hours a day ever so often.) The compelling back to back 8 counts, brings out my inner Beyonce on a world tour. Seeing and doing the great dances, even if they're hard or maybe a little simple it allows us fans to express ourselves and lose time in the moment.

                     TRAINEE LIFESTYLE

BLACKPINK Debut Show - Throwback Predebut GIF | Gfycat
                                                         (BlackPink before debut)

Sorry to break it to you, but idols like Chung-ha and HyunA didn't just wake up one day and thought ''well I'm going to become a k pop idol now.'' All if not most k-pop idols have to go through rigorous training that can take up to around 2-4 years. Most singers/ rappers can post viral videos and become famous but for k-pop its a lot different. Most will have to audition and if they make it he or she will have to go through insane training such as, truly strict and unhealthy diets, dancing for hours on end and so much more at such a young age. Knowing the hardships these men and women go through just to pursue their dreams makes us appreciate them so much more.

                               CONCEPTS

                                                                   (BTS - Spring Day)

K-pop calling onto all mystery solvers, because the majority if not all the kinds of music videos have concepts. either it's just for that music video, the album, or even from the start of the whole career. Along with every single thing stated previously, concepts add the spark that keeps things interesting. (Get it? because Jung-kook is holding a firework thingy.) Having concepts is something that keep you going with continuous twist and turns of the plot. Trust me these are so fun to break down and figure out, with good music and visuals at the same time.

                                                                 ( Momo of Twice)

Sadly, friends our fun conversation is now coming to an end. This was such an exciting topic that I've been wanting to talk about even before my first post. hehe. Pretty please let me know in the comments if you are a k-pop fan or you were just wondering why we like the genre. I hope this brightens up your day for a few moments, but until next time byee!
